Blue Ocean has been serving the Fairfax area since January 25th 1996 where it was established by two renowned sushi chefs, Kazuo Fukuyama, from Kagoshima prefecture and Tadayoshi Kato, from Aichi prefecture. Both chefs have been creating authentic Japanese cuisines for over 30 years, bringing a taste of Japan to the D.C area.
